A dream: that one day, if he lives long enough, when he has gray hairs on his head, he wants to look back at his life. However, when he looks back he doesn´t want to see all of the things he could have done or should have done for God, but he wants to see a life that he did do for God. He wants to see a life that was broken and used by Him, for His glory and His purpose! and not his own!
I met Joe in a meeting at Heather´s house, a woman from our Young Adult group in WCMC. He came tobe a great friend and brother in Christ for me and Lucy in the USA!! He has a great heart and worships God with his guitar in a wonderful way, for God´s glory! I´m grateful for having met him! Joe, you rock! ehehhe... I met Lucy last year on March. She had just arrived from Chile to replace of my best friends in the US, Natalia (from Argentina). She had no smile on her face... hehehhe... I was even worried if I should or shouldn´t give her a hug. But I did. She´s a south american like me, soo... come on!!!!!!hehehhe Well... She came out to be my best friend in the US, and she became a true christian and totally changed. From water to wine!!! Amazing! Praise God for you Lucy!! We lived together for my last couple of weeks there and it was sooo good to have a sister! I love you Lucy! Many blessings from our Lord to you!! :D

I met Raphael in the internet 2 years ago... Me and one of my best friends named Queli found him in my ICQ list, and he had found me on a christian music website... (don´t ask me how... I have no idea!!!). But yes, since then, we´ve been really good friends... When I was in the US, he came to visit my city and Queli. He loved it by the way.. :) Raphael!!! 9月10日 Going back back homeSeptember 8th 2005, Miami, 22:20PM:
12:45 PM. All set. Goodbyes, tears and smiles. Krista, Lucila, Eric and me went to Vince´s, in Yardley, to have lunch. My last meal in Yardley. Yumm.. Gnochi with pesto sauce.. :) hehe
1:30 PM. All set... for real. Ready to go to the airport. While we were talking at Vince´s I was still thinking of maybe staying... we were actually looking for a sign from God on the way to the airport.. hehe.. nothing happened and it couldn´t be more perfect... And then we heard at 99.1 someone saying that that day was going to be his best day....and then Eric said that could be a sign. I was supposed to go...
At around 3 PM we got to the airport. Then I checked my bags and then we had to say goodbye...
 sad... we all cried and then that was the end for my tears...I can say God truly gave me peace.. kind of weird I´m not crying or worried...Sometimes a little bit, but when those thoughts and feelings were to come... my favorite verse in the Bible, that everybody knows...Joshua 1:9, which says "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go", would come back to my mind. Although it´s hard to say goodbye, it was time to listen to God´s voice and cross the Jordan!!
I got the flight from Newark around 6:45pm. At 9:30pm I´m here now in Miami, writing some letter and this journal, as Eric advised me..
By the way... the view of Miami at this time of the night is really impressing! Beautiful!
At 11:20pm I´m supposed to get the plane to Sao Paulo and be there at 8:15am... Let´s see! I´ll check the time!

It couldn´t have been better so far... The airplane took off around 11:45pm from Miami and landed in Sao Paulo at 8:16am! :)
I already checked my bags in again to go to Florianopolis. Nobody opened my bags or questioned me anything about them! Thank God!
The girl that works for TAM Airlines, when I was checking in, was great! She gave a warm welcome to Brazil.. I mean in just the way she acted... :D
At 11:10am I´m going to be boarding my next flight!
I talked to my parents and my brother Daniel one the phone... They´re excited and we all are going to a pizzeria tonight! :)

I just woke up and came here to the computer to write this...
It was great great great!
What an awesome faithful God we have!!!
Nothing could have been more perfect!
In Sao Paulo, yesterday, the plane took off exactly the time it was supposed to, and landed exactly the time it was supposed to as well.... 11:50 am - 1:50 am.
When I came out of the airplane in Florianopolis I was excited, happy to be there... and then I walked a little bit, looked up to see if my family was there and there they were!!!!!! with a big sign saying: Liana, welcome! Nos te amamos!!! (which means We love you!)... Unbelievable!!! so cool! I would never expect my family to do that!! and that was surprising and awesome!
Then we drove back home... I was in "aw" all the time seeing things that I haven´t seen for 1 year and 23 days!! Sooo different.... actually everything looks smaller, but just great!
after that we were all excited to see what Liana brought to everybody... hhehe... they were all happy... really happy! and then we went to the Pizzaria! La Barrica its name.. of the weird pizzas that I ate I can tell you one of the weirdest: banana with vanilla ice cream.... when I say ice cream on the pizza, I mean a real scoop of ice cream!! it was very good by the way..
after that we came home and then my brother Daniel and I went to his friend´s house and from there we went for a walk on the beach, and around the city.... :) it came to my mind I have to make my own friends here soon... I missed you guys and wanted you to be there!
After that, my brother and I came back home to sleep... it was around 1:30am.... I couldn´t keep my eyes open anymore at that time... hehhe
finally... I got some sleep and now I´m back!
I woke up very fine by the way... no sad feelings... happy feelings only... Praise God!!!!
I´ll post some pics soon.... hopefully... :D

Liana. 5月20日 Long IslandTomorrow I'm going to Long Island University for a Au Pair Weekend course... I hope it will be fun!! like it was the last time I went there.... This last week my host parents went on vacation to Mexico... aiai... i wish.... but well.. the week was really fun, i could relax (I got really sick, so relaxing was soooo good!!) , kids behaved really well... i was at home by myself most of the time and that was fun too!!! music all the time... hehehhe :D Well....
